Astrup Fearnley Museum
Designed by Renzo Piano Building Workshop (with Narud-Stokke-Wiig) and completed in 2012, the Astrup Fearnley Museum sits on Oslo’s waterfront as a cluster of timber-clad forms gathered beneath a sweeping glass “sail” roof. I wanted to photograph the building as exterior texture and atmosphere - weathered wood, steel lines, and shifting daylight - where architecture is shaped by wind and water.
